A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: of detailed instructions from Kesselring on how to counter Allied attacks, on November 22; of German Air Force (GAF) recce results for the period of November 20-22; that Kesselring orders the clearance of Bizerta pier which is to be defended by flak guns, on November 22; a situation report for GAF operations on November 22; of the location of the Panzer Army's battle HQ on 21 November; of an order for a GAF attack against the Souk El Arba airfield on November 22; of Italian attacks against Algiers harbour on November 23; of a request for details of alternative landing arrangements if Tunis is non-operational, at Bizerta beach, on November 22; on France: that a [naval] signals detachment is en route from/via Marseilles to Toulon, on November 22; and on the Russian Front: of German losses and Russian gains, from November 22.
