Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: a detailed summary of the supply situation for supplies being transported from Italy to North Africa for the Panzer Army as at November 20; that the Germans are attempting to improve the supply service to Tripoli and to open up an overland route for supplies from Tunis to Tripoli; that Hitler orders the bringing up to strength of the Panzer Army, on November 19; and that Rommel was informed by Cavallero on November 21 that Mussolini has decided for formal reasons to subordinate the Panzer Army to the governor-general of Libya, to which Hitler had agreed.
