Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: Rommel reports to Hitler that the Panzer Army is completely out of fuel on November 19; a German intelligence report on the North African situation for November 18; a German intelligence report on the Allied situation in North Africa and on convoys of reinforcements that are en route, on November 20; and German reports from Vichy of November 21 and 22 give the French reaction to events in North Africa and reveal a German interest in acquiring French shipping.
