Description

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: of German Air Force (GAF) fighter protection for Ju52s flying to Arco on November 21; that Fehn is to arrive at Tripoli on November 21; of German arrangements for sea transport to Africa, on November 21; that cargo for the Panzer Army is on a ship sailing to Tripoli, on November 20; a GAF Tunis report for November 21, including a successful air raid on Bone airfield, and a move by French forces on November 21; of arrangements for shipping supplies to the Panzer Army, on November 19; a GAF Africa report for November 21; a GAF Africa evening report for November 21; and that GAF Tunis are to occupy Kairouan airfield, on November 21; on the Mediterranean: a GAF aircraft return for Greece and Crete on November 21; and of GAF intelligence on Allied convoys, on November 21.
