A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: that the Young Facist Division is now under command; that the fuel supply problems have eased, but now there is a bread shortage; that the German Air Force (GAF) in Tunis have been instructed to occupy Kairouan airfield, on November 21; a garbled report from Gabes, on November 20; of Nehring's guard arrangements in Tunis, on November 20; that the GAF at Gabes considers bomber support to be unnecessary, on November 20; and three British secret service reports from Tunis, for November 21 (an extract).
