Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following correspondence: a note that 1450 has been kept by Ismay; this file also includes the following reports on North Africa: that the chief quartermaster of the Panzer Army requests the supply of fuel by air on November 20; a German Air Force (GAF) report from Tripoli, noting the strained supply situation, on November 19; and the German Naval Command at Tunis reports the sighting of a strong British tank column, on November 19.
