Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports: a German Air Force (GAF) report for November 18, that the Panzer Army is in retreat; on the situation in Tunis; and that Italian railways are overloaded, meaning German troops are to be air-lifted; that Kesselring appointed a supply and transport overseer in Tunis on November 19; that German paratroops are to destroy the Tunis-Tebessa railway line on November 19; that Kesselring is to arrive in Tunis on November 20; that Kesselring's staff regard the disarming of the French in Tunis as a matter of life and death, on November 19; the Italians report that the Allies will not begin an attack on the Tunis Front for ten days, on November 19; and on the German Navy: of the position of an Arctic convoy, on November 18.
