Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: a Panzer Army day report for November 15: that Allied forces are in pursuit of the 90th Light Division acting as a rearguard, along the southern road; of weak Allied forces at Mechili; that the Africa Corps and the Italian 20th Corps have arrived in the Barce area; of considerable motor transport losses caused by air raids; and that the Africa Corps is now immobilised through a lack of fuel; and Naval Headlines, covering Admiral Biancheri being appointed Commander in Chief (C-in-C) for Tunis.
