A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: of an Italian Air Force attack on Allied shipping off Bougie, on November 12; of a German Air Force (GAF) attack on Bougie harbour, on November 12; the GAF in Sardinia reports attacks on shipping off Bougie, on November 12; of reinforcements to the German forces in Tunis, on November 13; that German forces in Tunis are to demand the internment of the U.S. Embassy and the cutting of cable communications to Algiers and Malta, on November 12; and that the Panzer Army is to withdraw to the Gulf of Sirte, with the GAF to protect its withdrawal, on November 13; and on the Mediterranean: GAF Sardinia report that the Corsica undertaking is going according to plan, on November 12.
