This file includes the following reports on North Africa: on the state of organisation and cohesion of the German troops flooding back into the Sollum-Halfaya area on November 6; that the Africa Corps has broken through; and that the evacuation of Mersa is probable; on the Mediterranean: the German Air Force (GAF) report an Allied convoy dividing up; and that Elmas is to be used for landing aircraft, on November 7; on North Africa: on reinforcements and supplies; that the road south west of Matruh is completely blocked; that preparations are being made for the evacuation of Tobruk, on November 8; and of Kesselring's exhortation to GAF units in Sardinia and Sicily, on November 7.
