This file includes the following reports on the Mediterranean: of attacks on the Gibraltar convoy by aircraft from Sardinia and Sicily on November 7; on North Africa: that German and Italian transport aircraft are to carry motor transport fuel to a forward airfield with a fighter escort, on November 7; that the Monreale is due in Benghazi carrying supplies; of supplies and spares carried by landing craft and ferries to Tobruk and Benghazi; German Air Force (GAF) reports of convoys off North Africa, on November 6; of the positions of an Allied convoy; that the GAF unit in Elmas has been warned of possible air raids or sabotage operations; that the Air Officer Commanding (AOC) 2nd Air Corps, General Loerzer, calls for an all-out effort in the battle against an Allied convoy, on November 6; that Rommel has called a conference of senior German and Italian officers at Sidi Barrani for November 7; and that the Panzer Army is withdrawing in the face of an Allied attack, on November 6.
