A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: an air raid damage report for Tobruk, for November 4; that the Sardinian airfield at Elmes is virtually undefended; and that 15 to 20 Ju88 aircraft are to be flown in to attack a Gibraltar convoy; from the Turkish minister in Cairo, on the morale of Axis PoWs, on October 31; and Naval Headlines, covering new patrol positions for U-boats north of Iceland.
