A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following correspondence: a signal from Rommel to Hitler summarising the situation in North Africa, detailing heavy German losses, there being no coherent front line, that new German forces are not expected, and proposals for mobile warfare; and Hitler's reply to Rommel on November 4.
