Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: of Kesselring's orders for the immediate transportation of the 47th Infantry Regtiment, on November 4; of an air raid on Benghazi, where an Italian destroyer is on fire; that Allied convoys have been seen leaving Gibraltar, and in the Port Said area; of Kesselring's declared intention of throwing in everything to support the Panzer Army; of Mussolini's agreement for the Africa Corps' strategic withdrawal; and of a request by the Panzer Army for heavy equipment together with experimental ammunition, queried by the Prime Minister (PM) with a reply from the Chief of the Imperial General Staff (CIGS).
