A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports: Naval Headlines 480, covering Mediterranean shipping; on North Africa: of the cargo of the Zara; that Rommel reports that the Panzer Army is exhausted, with no motor transport available for withdrawal, and that annihilation must be faced, on November 2; that Kesselring seeks an immediate appreciation on November 2; and that a German Air Force (GAF) staff has been formed to support the defence of line communications, on November 2.
