Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on the Mediterranean: that the German Air Force (GAF) Air Officer Commanding (AOC) in Chief South cancels leave for all units from October 29; on German ground forces' intentions for the night of October 31-November 1; and that the Panzer Army orders special attention to digging in vehicles and ammunition, on October 31.
