Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: that Kesselring considers the situation to be improved following a break in the Allied air attacks and the arrival of fighter reinforcements, on October 30; on the German Air Force's (GAF) future priorities; an Axis agent's report on future Allied plans, to include a main thrust on October 30/31 on the Alamein Front; a very detailed summary of the shortage of supplies at the front because of the lack of transport, on October 29; this item was passed on by the Prime Minister (PM) to the Director of Military Intelligence (DMI), the answers to the PM's questions are not included; and Naval Headlines.
