This file includes the following reports on North Africa: that an Allied naval battle group is operating from Malta, on October 30; of German Air Force (GAF) plans for October 31; that there will be no bombing attacks against Malta because of a lack of fighter escorts; and that Allied air attacks are causing an intolerable decline in GAF aircraft serviceability, as of October 30.
