Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: that Kesselring is unaware of the British offensive in Egypt, on October 20; a Panzer report for October 20, noting increased RAF activity; and that the training of motor transport drivers for the Panzer Army was restricted by a lack of fuel, on October 19; Naval Headlines, covering Mediterranean shipping; and that Hitler orders 20 landing craft to be held in the Black Sea for special operations; 110229 was sent to the Foreign Secretary (see 1131).
