This file includes the following reports on North Africa: that Kesselring is unaware of the British offensive in Egypt, on October 20; a Panzer report for October 20, noting increased RAF activity; and that the training of motor transport drivers for the Panzer Army was restricted by a lack of fuel, on October 19; Naval Headlines, covering Mediterranean shipping; and that Hitler orders 20 landing craft to be held in the Black Sea for special operations; 110229 was sent to the Foreign Secretary (see 1131).
