Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: of a Panzer Army discussion on the possible use of gas warfare by the British, on October 18-19; and that Nehring is to return to the Panzer Army in mid-November; on Germany: a German secret service report that the British are to land at Schleswig, on October 16; that 6000 German Air Force (GAF) works personnel are to fill the gaps in the flak units, on October 14; from the Brazilian ambassador in London, that Brazilian journalists were received by Churchill on October 15; and from the Saudi Arabian minister in Vichy, on the decline of Germany and growing resentment in occupied Europe, on October 16.
