A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: that Hitler is concerned over the Panzer Army's supply position, and urgently requests that all means be employed to improve the situation on October 10; Naval Headlines, covering Italian shipping being sunk, and that liberty flights are to be resumed between Italy and North Africa, on October 20; and from the Japanese ambassador in Rome, on a meeting with Mussolini and views on the war, on September 30.
