A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports: Naval Headlines, that the Hipper left Altafjord on October 1, and was 60 miles south west of Bodoe on October 2; the Japanese minister in Madrid comments on the growing cooperation between the U.K. and the U.S., on September 26; and a Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs guidance note to the minister in Madrid, on Soviet-Japanese relations as of September 30.
