Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: of the Panzer Army's officer training plans, and a high incidence of sickness, on October 2; and a Panzer Army day report for October 1, giving a summary of the supply position including losses from sinkings; on the Russian fronts: a report for September 30-October 1; from the Turkish ambassador in Copenhagen, of Swedish information on the bad situation in Germany; and of Italian pessimism, on September 30; 109703 was sent to Sir A.
