Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on the German Air Force (GAF): of a reduction in the establishment of signal units by ten percent, and that the allocation of new-intake recruits has been stopped, on September 29; on the Southern Russian Front: a ground forces report for September 27; Naval Headlines; from the Japanese minister in Budapest, on Hungary's part in the war, on September 25; from the Greek chargé in Kuibyshev, that Vishinsky predicts a Soviet military offensive and deplores the lack of a second front, on September 30; and from the Japanese ambassador in Rome, that the Italians predict a separate Finnish-Soviet peace, on September 29.
