A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on the German Air Force (GAF): that Goering orders the curtailment of training of bomber pilots, from September 8; on North Africa: a Panzer Army day report for September 28, covering a supply ship being sunk; on the Russian fronts: a German report for September 28; from the Japanese ambassador in Berlin, describing discussions with Ribbentrop on Axis war plans, on September 22; from the Portuguese minister in Washington, on Japanese policy in the Far East, on September 26; from the Japanese minister in Bucharest, that the Germans are seeking increased cooperation from the Roumanian Air Force, as of September 25; and from the Japanese ambassador in Rome, relaying Italian information on India.
