Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on the Mediterranean: on Kesselring's measures to reduce the operational load on Ju88 groups, because of crew fatigue, on September 28; Naval Headlines, covering the German cruiser Hipper and destroyers being stationed in a Norwegian port on three hours' notice; on the Azores: that German intelligence is to check on the Brazilian intention to occupy them at the end of September; on Tangier: that the Germans are controlling the handling of ships at Casablanca, on September 17; and naval section report ZIP/ZGM/1 was sent to the Prime Minister (PM) under 918.
