Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on Germany: that Hitler replaces General Halder as of September 25; on North Africa: that Kesselring is to visit on September 27 or 28; and that the wounded Nehring is to return at the beginning of November; from the Turkish minister in Madrid, relaying French information on German peace overtures to the U.K., on September 23; from the Turkish consul in Moscow, describing the war situation on the Russian Front, on September 23; and from the Italian minister in Bangkok, on Japanese intentions towards India, on September 22.
