A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: that the Panzer Army complains of the insufficient use of the harbours at Tobruk and Benghazi to relieve the supply situation, on September 18; on the Mediterranean: that there are fears in the Italian Air Force of British naval movements, on September 19; on the Southern Russian Front: a German Air Force (GAF) report on Stalingrad; and on the Russian Front: of the GAF's establishment of anti-tank flying units at strategic locations in winter, on September 20.
