A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: the German Air Force (GAF) report that all is quiet in Tobruk after the British landings, on September 17; that the Italian 5th Air Corps have asked the Air Officer Commanding (AOC) in Chief South for reinforcements, on September 17; and that the Italians informed the AOC in C South that the situation in Gialo is causing anxiety, on September 17.
