This file includes the following reports: Naval Headlines, covering German attacks on an Arctic convoy, that cruisers are at a state of readiness, Italian shipping to North Africa, and Spanish activity; from the Greek chargé in Ankara on U.S. assurances to Turkey, on September 11; from the Japanese minister in Kabul on Moslem agitation in Soviet central Asia, on September 8; and from the Irish minister in Rome, on Spanish-Axis relations and the internal situation in Italy, as of September 11.
