Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file contains a message from C to the Prime Minister (PM) suggesting an enquiry into a serious leak of intelligence information: that the Daily Telegraph of September 10 reported on the ill health of Rommel; originally the Turkish ambassador in London reported the ill health of Rommel and the killing of von Bismarck on September 3 (see also 674 and 672).
