Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on the Eastern Russian Front: a ground forces report for September 4, that the Germans are nearing the Caspian Sea; Naval Headlines; and messages from the Italian consul in Istanbul, that the Soviet Black Sea fleet is to be handed over to Turkey, on September 3; and from the Japanese ambassador in Berlin, who forwards German reports on the fighting in Russia and Egypt, on September 2.
