A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: part of a German Air Force (GAF) report and their intentions for September 3; that RAF night-bomber aerodromes in Egypt are probably the targets for the GAF on the night of September 3-4; that the German 90th Light Division's situation is unchanged, as of September 3; a fragment of a Panzer Army report for September 2; and a GAF report for September 3 and their intentions for the night of September 3-4; on the Mediterranean: a GAF report for September 3, that ships were attacked by the RAF; and that an Italian cruiser is at sea, on September 3; and on the Southern Russian Front: a progress report for September 2 on the German offensive.
