This file includes the following reports on North Africa: of the German Air Force's (GAF's) orders to the Italian Air Force (IAF) for September 2; of the Panzer Army's lack of fuel (not on the coversheet); and a GAF report for September 1; on the Southern Russian Front: a ground forces report for August 31; and messages from the Japanese Foreign Minister to the ambassador in Berlin, on Japan's need for shipping and steel on August 26; from the Turkish ambassador in Teheran, giving Polish information on the Caucasus and the situation in Iran, on August 29; and from the Japanese minister in Budapest, giving Ribbentrop's views on the war, on August 25.
