A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: a German Air Force (GAF) air recce report for August 31, including General von Bismarck being killed; on the Mediterranean: that the GAF believe British naval activity at Gibraltar to be manoeuvres, on August 31; on the Southern Russian Front: of GAF operational orders for August 31 in support of a German offensive; and on the German ground forces' situation on August 29; and on Yugoslavia: a German report on partisan activity for August 30.
