Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: that Kesselring assures Rommel that the Panzer Army can rely on the full support of the German Air Force (GAF) when tackling its next objective, on August 30; that a long-range recce aircraft unit in Egypt called up all available crews and aircraft from the rear, on August 30; that a supply tanker for the Panzer Army was torpedoed on August 30; and that the Panzer Army planned assaults before August 26 and/or September.
