A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: that Kesselring is expected at his battle HQ shortly after August 24 for a probable conference with senior German Air Force (GAF) and Italian Air Force officers; that anti-aircraft artillery (AAA) is to be moved from Benghazi to Tobruk from August 24 to protect Axis convoys expected to arrive in Tobruk; that a GAF fighter group withdrawn from the Russian Front is to remain at Tobruk from August 24; and that a German general responsible for liaison with the Italians on military supplies is arriving in North Africa on 25 August.
