This file includes the following reports from BONIFACE: sent by C to Sir Hastings Ismay for the Prime Minister (PM); from the Italian minister in Bucharest, a garbled report of Turkish intelligence on the Russian Front, on July 18, not listed on the coversheet; on North Africa: of Panzer Army supply difficulties mainly due to enemy action, on August 1; that the Panzer Army requires outboard motors to facilitate unloading at harbours, on July 31; that the Panzer Army complained about heavy losses to coastal shipping and requested the German Air Force (GAF) to take control from the Italians, on August 1; on details of substantial anti-tank gun reinforcements for the Panzer Army, on July 31; and a Panzer Army report for July 31 including the German tank situation.
