A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: a Panzer Army report for July 23, describing the enemy being repulsed, and successful German Air Force (GAF) attacks; that the GAF plan a night attack from Crete on British bomber aerodromes on the night of July 25-26; that the GAF are to be ready to harass enemy night movements in preparation for a big attack on July 25; 1229/T6 was sent to the Assistant Chief of Air Staff Intelligence (ACASI) under 226.
