A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file contains a message from C to the Director of Military Intelligence (DMI) with the Prime Minister's (PM's) note to the Chief of the Imperial General Staff (CIGS): concerning a report from the Portuguese minister in Stockholm that U.S. worker pressure is forcing a second front without hope of success, on July 17; the PM requested that this be shown to the U.S.; the CIGS decides not to do so.
