Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: a German Panzer Army operations report for July 18; a German Air Force (GAF) operations report for July 18; 1211/T2 is not included (sent to C on July 20); on GAF operational orders and fuel supply difficulties, on July 18; a German Panzer Army report for July 18 on supply difficulties; a GAF report of attacks on Tobruk, on July 18; on a 90th Light Division request for a GAF air recce, on July 19; on North Africa: of a 90th Light Division request for GAF air support, on July 19; that German tanks are to move to counter a British armoured attack, on July 19; and that the GAF are to attack on behalf of the 90th Light Division, on July 19.
