Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: on the German Air Force's (GAF's) concern over fuel supplies in the operational area, on July 9; and of a GAF query about fuel deliveries, on July 7; on the Russian Front: a German ground forces general report for July 9; Naval Headlines, covering Italian activity; from the Italian minister in Kabul, that the Afghan government has arrested foreign agents on July 6, and on the possibilities of future collaboration with Kabul; from the Japanese ambassador in Berlin, on policy on India, from July 2; and from the Turkish ambassador in Kuibyshev, that China's position is grave because of a lack of Allied aid as of July 7.
