This file includes the following reports on North Africa: situation reports from within the Panzer Army, for July 6; an Italian naval report of forces from the Congo and Lake Chad being en route to Egypt; of an Allied aircraft attack on the Italian Littoria division, on July 6; on North Africa: of a schedule dated July 3 for sea and air transport to Africa of German assault boats and personnel; that an intensive troop airlift from Maleme to Tobruk is to start on July 6; that all fuel arriving in Crete is to be redirected to Maleme, from July 5; and that the commander of the German 20th Corps was killed by June 27; and on the Barents Sea: that German aircraft attacked German U-boats in error, on July 5, leading to a ban on German Air Force (GAF) aircraft attacking submarines.
