A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: a summary of German Air Force (GAF) and 90th Light Division activities for July 3; and on the intentions of the Panzer Army for July 4; on the Russian Front: of German progress in the Kursk and Kharkov areas and on the Moscow Front, on July 3; a Bulgarian report from Berlin of a German official's view of the U.K.-U.S.-Soviet treaty and its consequences, on June 24; a Italian report from Santiago on the Mexican peoples' attitude to war, on June 26; the Japanese ambassador in Berlin reports a discussion with Ribbentrop on policy towards India, on June 25; and the Spanish minister in Ankara relays a Polish report on the military situation in the Middle East, on June 30.
