Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports: Naval Headlines, covering convoy QP13 being sighted off the North Cape, and convoy PQ17 being expected off Jan Mayen, on June 30; a Chinese report from Ankara denying a rumour of a Turkish-German agreement, on June 29; from the French ambassador in Washington, that the Chinese are not happy following a meeting with Churchill and Roosevelt on June 24; and from the Japanese ambassador in Ankara on Allied reinforcements in the Middle East, on June 26.
