Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: that the Panzer Army demand a pamphlet drop over towns in the Nile delta, on June 27; that the German Air Force (GAF) with the German Africa Corps are to attack El Alamein, on July 1; that the 10th Air Corps is to drop mines in the Suez Canal; and an operational return on June 30; on Northern Europe: that Russian PoWs are to work in northern Norway, on June 30; and a German naval report (of June 30) for all areas including the raising of HMS Campbeltown from the entrance to St Nazaire.
