Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: a German Air Force (GAF) report on the ground situation, from June 25; a GAF report on ground forces positions on June 27; that the Germans are following up the retreating enemy, on June 27; a report on Axis ground forces' intentions, for June 27; a 15th Panzer Division report for June 27; on an instruction for the German ground forces to supply information on the condition of troops and losses for Hitler and a reply from probably the 90th Light Division, on June 22; a Panzer Army report for June 26; of an urgent request from the Panzer Army for maps of the Suez Canal area, on June 26; and on the German Navy: an abridged report for June 27.
