Description

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports: Naval Headlines for June 22, covering German and Italian activity; on North Africa: a German Air Force (GAF) evening report for June 21; and that the Germans are to bombard Sollum, on June 21; on the Mediterranean: a GAF bomber group is to return to Sicily from Crete, on June 21; and a German Navy summary report for June 21; 1104/T21 was abstracted for the Prime Minister (PM), see 9866.
