A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on the Mediterranean: that an operation against shipping targets was delayed because of damage caused by an RAF raid to an airfield in Crete; a German good source report of Allied mistakes in North Africa on June 12; a summary of the Allied prisoners of war that have been taken up to June 10; a good source report of impending sabotage attacks by paratroops and the Long Range Desert Group on June 12-13; and of objectives agreed between Mussolini, Kesselring and Cavallero on the progress of the North African campaign, on June 12.
