Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: the German Air Force (GAF) request the army to allow reasonable time in requesting operations, on June 4; a GAF report for June 5; on GAF intentions for June 7; on a request for GAF support on June 7; that the GAF are to bomb a convoy in Tobruk harbour on the night of June 5-6; and from the Japanese ambassador in Berlin on U.S. defences in the Panama Canal zone, from June 3.
